Bush fails to even try to come up with a plan to "win the peace" after the invasion of Iraq. He underestimates (According to Wolfowitz) the strength of the insurgency in Iraq. We are not welcomed with flowers. We are welcomed with bombs and bullets. Americans die.

Bush fails to grasp the impact of hurricane Katrina (according to Chertoff). The feds fail to respond in a rapid manner. Americans die.

What a failure.
