So, this is it, my final Sunday night in Texas. Next Saturday, my family and I will climb on board a Frontier Airlines airplane and bid Austin farewell. Between now and then I've got some work to do.
Packers are coming tomorrow and Tuesday to start packing everything up.
Tuesday night will be spent in a hotel.
Wednesday, the moving truck comes to cart off all our possessions.
Thursday we close on our new house in Lone Tree.
Friday we close on our old house in Austin.
Sometime in there the Texas Senate should pass a $1 increase in the cigarette tax. Let's hope they get their act together and do it.
